How we use the information you give us in the solar savings assessment.
What we collect
Your name, email address, mobile number and postcode, together with the answers you give about your property, roof, electricity spend, interests and timeframe. We also record basic marketing attribution (such as the campaign or link you arrived from) and the date and time you gave consent.
How we use it
We use your answers to produce an indicative solar estimate, to score how well your enquiry matches installers, and to introduce you to a local installer when you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Your contact details are only released to an installer once you ask to speak to one or book a consultation. Before that point, installers see non-identifying information only, such as your postcode area and electricity spend band. We introduce you to installers we have approved and who cover your area. We do not sell your details to unrelated third parties.
The consent you give
“I'm happy for Energy Lead Hub and one matched local installer to contact me by phone, text or email about solar panels and battery storage for my property. I can ask to stop at any time.” (version 2026-08-v1). We store the exact wording, the version and the timestamp of your agreement.
Your choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you, to correct your details, or to delete your record at any time by replying to any message from us. If an installer has already contacted you, ask them directly to stop as well.
Estimates are not quotations
Every figure we show is an indicative estimate based on the answers you gave. It is not a quotation and not a guarantee of savings or generation.
